about mud flower
Our greatest wish is to live in a world where youth are empowered to find joy within themselves and show compassion towards one another! Women, wives, mothers, dreamers, coffee drinkers, yogis, and friends; these are just a few of the words that describe us! We are a unique combination of yoga + mindfulness... but for kids, parents, teachers, and families!
Mud Flower uses tools and techniques inspired by yoga + mindfulness to encourage students, parents, and teachers, in and out of the school, to find joy every day. We believe that every person, of every age, should have the opportunity to live a life with less stress and anxiety and more joy, compassion, creativity, and confidence! We provide them with tools for a healthy, happy life!

Jenny is a mama, wife, yogi, artist, teacher, and photographer! She is a self-proclaimed Texifornian (a little bit Texas country cowgirl and a little bit California beach bum) with a passion for the arts!
She graduated from The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Theatre and pursued an interest in Film with a BA from University of California, Santa Barbara. With 18 years of experience teaching children theatre, dance, acting, and gymnastics at Glendale Centre Theatre (Los Angeles,) HITS Theatre (Houston), and TUTS Humphreys school (Houston), she added photographer to her resume, starting Jennifer Franco Photography in 2008 and specializing in children’s portrait and headshot photography. After becoming a mother for the 3 rd time, she realized the importance of “me” time and rediscovered a love of yoga in 2012. This passion for yoga led her to become a 200 hr certified yoga teacher in 2016, then continued with her 300 hr certification in 2018. Inspired by her beautiful 3 daughters and experiencing the hills and valleys of childhood from the viewpoint of a mother, she was drawn to help develop a program for children of all ages as well as help mothers and teachers learn the importance of making time to care for themselves. Her strong connection to celebrating the arts, creativity, individuality and working with children fuel her fire to help make a difference in the lives of youth every chance she gets! She is energetic and enthusiastic when working with children and adults and inspired to genuinely connect with and inspire as many people as she can!
Becky was born and raised in Montana and grew up camping, fishing, hiking, and spending as much time as she could in nature. A mother of two beautiful daughters, a wife to a pretty cool dude, and a dreamer, she has never shied away from a new adventure. In the Summer of 2014 life presented a new adventure to her family and they moved to Texas!
Becky earned a BA in Business Management at Montana State University in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. During college, she started a Property Management Company while simultaneously
owning and operating a home décor boutique on Bozeman’s Main Street. After moving to Texas, she sought out a career in Interior Design and managed a Designer Showroom in River Oaks in Houston, TX. Creating a sanctuary within the spaces you live, work and play is a passion Becky has always innately had. She loves finding beauty and comfort in her surroundings wherever she may be. After several years in the Design Industry, Becky realized she was missing out on the most important aspect of her life, her family, and wanted more time with her daughters. In this process, she realized there was not a place where they could go together to practice yoga + mindfulness; this is when Mud Flower was born. Never quite feeling like she wants to grow up, Becky loves to work with children and teens. Understanding there should be an advocate for every child drives her passion to spread joy and
compassion to kids, parents, and teachers.
