Cultivating JOY with our Breath!

In our classes and workshops we teach that our breath is not only a predictor of how we are feeling, but it actually has the power to change the way we feel, depending upon how we use it!  Breath of Joy is a fun and energetic breath exercise that is always sure to bring about smiles and even some laughter!

 

Here is how you do it in 5 short and simple steps!

 

Step 1:

Hands UP

Quick, short breath in through the nose

 

 

Step 2:

Hands Out

Quick, short breath in through the nose

 

Step 3:

Hands Up (again!)

Quick, short breath in through the nose (again!)

Step 4:

Throw your hands down fast

"HA" all of your breath out through the mouth

Step 5:

Have fun with it! 

Add jumps, turns, and laughter as needed!

 

 

Find the JOY in everything you do!
